Checking status of Nebula apps and services...
Welcome to Nebula Core!
Nebula Core is a privately owned an operated "cloud services" provider built and maintained by Victor Rossi, a hobbyist designer, photographer, and tech enthusiast. Nebula Core is the central component in a growing network of machines and services, and aims to reduce Nebula users' reliance on major cloud platform providers like Google or Amazon.
If you've got a Nebula account (formerly Catserver account), log in with your credentials in the upper right. Having an account allows you to access the full array of features and services offered by Nebula Core, and allows you to provide some feedback, if you see fit. It's pretty neato.
If you need an account, send me an email and I'll set you up. Due to limited resources, accounts are only provided to friends and family at this time.
2011-07-14: Fixed the Minecraft server yet again...►
It seems like I'm doing this way too often, but nevertheless, it's up and running again. A note to players (or potential players), please refrain from expanding the world beyond it's current bounds. I'm not going to enforce this via set limits because I feel like players should have this option for future expandability, but due to the massive amount of open/unused space currently available, I feel like it's not particularly necessary. And remember, as always, you're free to leave comments or suggestions via @catserverdotnet on Twitter, here in the comments, or through email at victor (at) catserver (dot) net.2011-07-07: Minecraft and Bukkit updated to latest version!►
Let me know if you encounter any problems/broken plugins/exploded areas and so on. Have fun!2011-07-05: Coming soon to Catserver...►
I've been working on some usability features for Catserver Members, including a web based VNC client, a Public Storage search system, and a repaired web-based torrent interface. Check back later, or log in to preview some of the newly added...stuff. Also, the Minecraft server is out of date...again. I'll get to it soon, trust me. 2011-05-26: Minecraft server updated to 1.6, running vanilla (No bukkit)►
I'm still not able to get bukkit and plugins working, but I did update the server to 1.6 and start it "vanilla" (without modifications) so that people can at least, you know, access their amazing creations. Enjoy!2011-05-23: Important information about Catserver/Nebula Nine, and Minecraft.►
I've made the decision to separate my personal endeavors from my Catserver services, so that I can begin to use Nebula Nine (now renamed "Nebula Foundry") to promote my photography and design work. Catserver.net will be a separate site dedicated to the services Catserver offers like website hosting, data storage, user accounts, and game servers like Minecraft. And speaking of Minecraft...as a few of you have noticed (and have subsequently bothered me about), the Minecraft server has been down for a few days, as a result of an extremely unusual problem that prevents anyone from connecting to the server, but does not prevent the server from running. A friend and I have managed to track the problem down to an incompatibility with Atheros networking adapters, and although this is more or less confirmed, we have yet to find a solution. Obviously purchasing another adapter would solve this problem, but that is definitely not a preferred option. I'll update you all if ...
